Books for Africa

For the past 30 years, Books for Africa has been sending textbooks, library materials, resource materials, and tablets to African schools and have sent a shipment of material to every country on the African continent! They are doing an outstanding job of ending the book famine in Africa with the goal of helping the African people through better education. We donate numerous truckloads of books a year to Books for Africa and look forward to continuing our partnership with them in the coming years.  To see pictures of a recent trip two of our purchasing agents took to one of the schools we supplied, click on an image at left.

RISE helps create jobs for people with disabilities. We have donated books to them regularly over the last year and plan to continue to do so.

Arizona Center for the Blind & Visually Impaired

Arizona Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired seeks to enhance the lives of blind and visually impaired individuals in Arizona. All material that we recycle goes straight to ACBVI, where our materials provide revenue for the organization, as well as job training and employment opportunities for those serviced by this organization.

Compassion International

Compassion International seeks to provide education, medical care, food, and other crucial assistance to children and families in third world countries through child sponsorship and development of child development centers. We have done numerous projects through Compassion.  We contributed toward a project to relocate and build two churches and child development centers in Bangladesh, after they had been destroyed by monsoonal rains, and resulting landslides and mass flooding. It was not strong enough to support any future landslides or flooding, so they relocated the entire church and center out of the flood and mud’s reach so it could be sustainable long-term. We are currently partnering with a new child development center in Ghana (Read the Report).  This year our yearly gift is earmarked to help launch a new child development center in Ecuador.
