Compassion International

Compassion International seeks to provide education, medical care, food, and other crucial assistance to children and families in third world countries through child sponsorship and development of child development centers. We have done numerous projects through Compassion.  In the past, we have contributed toward a project to relocate and build two churches and child development centers in Bangladesh, after they had been destroyed by monsoonal rains, and resulting landslides and mass flooding, as well as contributing toward building new child development centers in Ghana and Ecuador.

Compassion International: 2023 Update

The center we launched in Burkina Faso is thriving.  Here are the key outcomes since the launch in August 2022:

  • 12,023 families of Compassion-assisted children received monthly food supplies from September through December 2022. Each monthly supply included 100 kgs of staples such as corn, rice, pasta
    and cooking oil.
  • 409 pastors of local church partners also received this monthly food benefit for their families.
  • 8,000 babies (ages 0-4) received a 1.2 kg supply of enriched, powdered formula during each of the same four months.
  • 563 families in hard-to-access areas were provided direct cash transfers to buy food.
  • Fertilizer and other agriculture aids were distributed to families reliant on subsistence farming for the summer growing season.
  • 6,500 caregivers were selected based on need to receive income generation training and seed money to start or revive small businesses.

If you would like to SPONSOR a child from the new center we launched, please go HERE. Only 18 will show on the first page. If you enter BF0517 in the search bar to the right under Child Center Name/ID, you will see more. They are constantly adding new children being serviced, so this is an ongoing need.

Catholic Education Arizona

Since 2021, we have given a yearly business partnership donation to Catholic Education Arizona, a local tuition organization that provides additional educational funding via scholarships for students with socio-economic or special needs challenges so they can attend schools that meet their needs without cost to them or their family.
